About Acne

The most common side effects reported with the use of Renova cream on the face are: pruritus, erythema, stinging, burning, dry skin, peeling, severe skin irritation, severe local irritation, hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation. In many cases, patients are advised to temporarily discontinue the use of Renova cream. Sometimes doctors prescribe a mild topical corticosteroid for alleviating the skin irritation. Approximately four percent patients are forced to discontinue using Tretinoin cream as the adverse reactions become unmanageable.
