Side Effects of Doxycycline
Doxycycline can cause side effects such as stomach upset, vomiting, diarrhea, vaginal itching, and headache. Some of the serious side effects of this drug are blurred vision, liver or kidney problems, difficulty breathing, dark colored urine, and yellowing of the skin or eyes. The maintenance dose may be taken as a single dose or as 50 milligrams every 12 hours.
